LIQUID TACKIFIERS AND PROCESS AIDS

SINGLE COMPONENT ADHESION PROMOTERS

Single component adhesion promoters improve adhesion between rubber and reinforcement post vulcanization. They are effective with natural and synthetic elastomer and their blends and various reinforcements such as rayon, nylon, polyester, aramid, and brass coated steel wire. Being single component system, there is no need to add additional resorcinol donor or formaldehyde donor to the rubber compound.

LIQUID TACKIFIER RESINS
Liquid tackifiers are used as tackifiers and processing aid for highly filled rubber compounds and compatible with natural and synthetic elastomers. They aid in the mixing process by reducing energy of mixing and Mooney viscosity
while providing tack to the rubber compound. Their inherent tack properties
eliminate the use of other solid resins that may increase Mooney viscosity.
