PP-1921 is an ideal (resorcinol-free) adhesion promoter to enhance the bond strength between rubber and synthetic fiber cords or brass/bronze-coated steel wire. During vulcanization, PP-1921 reacts with formaldehyde donors such as HMMM and HMT to form cross-linked structures that retain good adhesion properties upon heat and humidity aging.
